An introductory computer course. The course will cover using the word processor, Windows operating system, internet and email

Beginner Computer Course
Use Windows Operating Systems, Word processing, Internet and Email
 
When: Tues 9.30am - 12 noon 20 Oct ( 8weeks)

Intermediate Computers
If you have completed Beginners computer, Introduction to Computers or Computers for the Terrified, this course is the \\\'next step\\\'. You will learn: Document Creation - including formatting tabsk indents, tables, headers and footers Power Point - how to create a simple Power Point presentation Excel - creating tables and charts, absolutes, minimum/maximum, averages and sorting Advanced Internet - dangers associated with using the internet, phishing, pop-ups and cookies, scams Computer Maintenance - how to tidy up your computer.

Computer culture
If English is not your first language and you have experienced difficulty finding your way around the computer? Then come and learn to use the computer in a friendly supportive environment.

Getting On-line
Free public internet access and support for refugees living in the northern suburbs. Develop confidence in using computers, learn email, social networking and blogging plus job search skills. Tutor: David Gravolin
